About Evergreen Exterior Services Ltd

Established in 1986, Evergreen Exterior Services started off as a family run business, selling plants in New Covent Garden Flower Market. As the business grew, they purchased the site in Banstead - which became the main nursery and head office. We continue to have a presence in New Covent Garden Flower Market, with 2 branches there, plus another nursery in Wallington, Surrey, which is dedicated to serving garden centres and Christmas trees.

Evergreen came under new ownership in 2020, with Craig Marshall and Danny Cumber rising up the ranks from nursery staff to directors of the company. Since their leadership began, the company has grown and matured, continually improving its plant selection. With their deep-rooted understanding of the industry and commitment to quality, Craig and Danny have shaped Evergreen into a stronger and more customer-focused company.

We pride ourselves on offering an extensive range of high-quality plants, including trees, annuals, evergreen shrubs, flowering shrubs, topiary, hedging, and herbaceous perennials. At our Banstead and New Covent Garden locations, trade clients can explore our vast plant displays, where our expert team of sales advisors is ready to assist with all your inquiries and plant selections.

With our dedication to quality and service, Evergreen Exterior Services has built a solid reputation within the horticultural industry, ensuring that our clients receive not only premium plants but also expert guidance and support.

Evergreen has over 50 full time members of staff, many of whom have been with the company for 20 plus years and since leaving school.

The Banstead nursery is situated on 8 acres of land, close to junction 8 of the M25 and with easy access to London and the home counties.

Oli is a highly experienced horticulturist with over 20 years at Evergreen, including 15 years in sales, where he has built strong relationships with leading landscapers and designers. His extensive connections with UK and European growers enable him to source a vast range of plants quickly, ensuring exceptional service and quality for clients.

Fergus is a highly experienced horticultural professional with over a decade in the Garden Centre and Wholesale industries, backed by RHS training. In addition to sourcing top-quality plants for garden centres, he supports Evergreen’s purchasing alongside James, leveraging his strong grower connections across the UK and Europe to maintain a diverse and high-quality stock selection.

James Nuttall

James is the Strategic Buyer and Analyst at Evergreen, responsible for sourcing high-quality plants and optimising purchasing decisions based on trends and data. His expertise in supplier negotiations and stock management ensures Evergreen maintains a diverse, competitive, and efficiently sourced plant selection for its clients.

Paul Fairhead

Paul has been in the horticultural industry since leaving school, with over six years at Evergreen and two as Market Manager at New Covent Garden. His expertise and strong industry relationships ensure the branch runs smoothly and clients receive exceptional service.

Thea Pitcher Dip. Hort. (Kew)

Thea is a Kew-trained horticulturist with 25 years of experience in horticulture, design, and TV gardening, having worked with Alan Titchmarsh and on BBC Gardeners' World. Now leading Evergreen’s marketing, she applies her expertise in branding and social media to enhance the company’s presence and drive business growth.
