New Covent Garden Market is proud to support local homelessness centre, The Connection at St Martin’s, by providing plants which will form part of a living wall display at the World’s Big Sleep Out on 7th December. The wall will be designed and built by members of The Connection at St Martin’s gardening group. This group offers the chance for people who are homeless, or recovering from homelessness, to rebuild their self-esteem and confidence through gardening. Gardening can be very therapeutic and is a hugely important part of may people’s journey back from the streets. We are so pleased to be able to be a part of this event, and to show our support to these budding gardeners.
